Tis' the Season

Our tree! The ornaments tend to keep inching up the tree to avoid little hands.

Our entertainment center and look, Polar Express is on

Our mantel

Yesterday while Aaron was home he was able to go out and pick up a few more of the kids gifts that we had been wanting to get and we wrapped them last night after everyone went to bed. I love the holidays and am so excited for the kids just as I remember how it used to be as a child during this time of year. The girls are still too little but this will be the first year Sage can anticipate presents from Santa. For all of the rest of us I decided to start a new tradition. Our immediate family me, Aaron, Grandma, Grandpa, Sisters, Great Grandma brother-in-laws will draw names and get a present for that one person. There is a dollar amount minimum and then we will also buy a white elephant gift $20 max for a Christmas game if anyone has played before it's really fun. We all agree it's about the children and the most important thing is having family and friend and our health. This also is a lot less expensive and less stressful for everyone having to buy for each other.

Sage and I had put of the tree and decorations the day after Thanksgiving and he had so much fun helping out. Everything was "Wow mama". Aaron also bought The Polar Express movie which we had never seen before but was on basic T.V this past weekend and Sage feel in love with it. So we got it on Blue Ray and I can't even begin to tell you how unreal the animation is. The picture quality of the blue ray DVD's is well worth it we love ours.
